Five families from each selected ten (10) barangays of Camalig were chosen as the beneficiaries of Camalig Bank - Camalig Branch for their gift giving activity last Saturday, November 23, 2019 as part of the Bank’s golden anniversary celebration.

Along with the season of giving, the said branch decided to do a gift giving activity in coordination with the officials of the different barangays in determining the families belonging to the marginalized sector as the beneficiary of the program.

The Camalig Branch personnel conducted a house to house visitation to see the status of each family. They believe that by this, they will be able to touch the hearts of the clients and let them feel that they are valued by providing simple tokens of gratitude for being their banking partners for the past fifty (50) years.

Their first destination was Barangay Quinuartilan where they’ve coordinated with the Brgy. Captain. Their mission was easily carried because of the nearness of each household. After which, they went to Barangay Del Rosario where they continued the gift-giving.

After Barangay Del Rosario, the whole team went straight to the next one, Barangay Taloto. The original plan was that they were going to ask for the assistance of the Barangay Officials in choosing their beneficiaries. However, due to various impediments they had, the whole team decided to personally pick the beneficiaries based on the assessment of their financial status. It was past 11:30 am when they arrived at the forth destination, Barangay Taplacon. Despite the hindrances met, they completed the distribution of gift packs to all the chosen beneficiaries.
