To educate the children and parents on the importance of saving and handling money, Camalig Bank Sorsogon City and Castilla Offices conducted an outreach program to the less privileged children of Pandan, Castilla (Sorsogon) on Saturday October 5, 2019.

The program started at 9:00 a.m. with an opening prayer lead by FMNolial, followed by a welcome remark of Brgy. Councilor Elizabeth Alba. The children participated in a zumba dance lead by JJGodoy, after which was the talk by JEAsaldo on how to save. Facilitators then distributed the paper rulers for Kiddie Savers.

The discussion was followed by parlor games and winners were given prizes. The team also distributed school supplies and food for the kids. Lastly, the program ended with the closing remarks given by MGGL and JDMoratillo to express their gratitude to the Barangay Council and participants for the support and warm welcome given to the team.

A total of 100 participants consisting of 80 kids and 20 parents attended. Towards the end of the program, the parents were encouraged to open for their children a bank account to save money and earn interest.
