Camalig Bank Foundation (CBF) has aired its first financial literacy talk on Spirit FM 94.7, Friday, 7 May 7, 2021.

This strategy is part of CBF’s redesigned program for the new normal environment. “Since restricted ngayon ang pag-conduct ng face to face seminars and trainings, nag-tap kami ng other channel which is eto nga, thru radio station to conduct talks on financial literacy which is a major advocacy of the foundation.”, Jonelyn Ardales, Project Coordinator of CBF explained.

Together with DJ Mia of Spirit FM, Ms. Ardales has discussed the topic on ways in achieving financial goals. The six (6) identified ways which they have delved into are: (1) Knowing what’s important, (2) Sorting out the identified goals, (3) SMART goal, (4) Realistic Budget, (5) Savings, and (6) Progress Tracking.

During the interactive talk, the two have exchanged ideas on the importance of financial education that includes goal-setting and saving. “The goal is to inculcate into the listeners the value of creating their steps toward established goals., This is for all audiences dahil lahat naman tayo may pangarap na gusto natin i-achieve,.”, Ms. Ardales, added.
